Michael’s passion for music began when he picked up the guitar at the age of 12. Just two years later, he was performing with function bands across the country, building extensive live experience. At the same time, he became a member of an original band, where he honed his abilities in live performance, songwriting, arranging, and recording, laying the foundation for his career as a musician.
Alongside performing, Michael studied Music at A Level before graduating with a First Class Honours in Music. During this time, he gained further experience through session work and collaborations across a range of musical styles.
In addition to performing, since 2011 Michael works as a guitar tutor, teaching both privately and in secondary schools. He is passionate about helping students develop their skills and confidence as musicians.
