Jeremy is a musician, composer, arranger, performer and teacher of music and music theory.
He has extensive experience in delivering whole class and individual instrumental tuition with schools, colleges, FE establishments and borough councils in London and the Cambridgeshire area.
Jeremy has spent many years working as a performer in various groups and ensembles, playing an eclectic mix of punk, folk, jazz, pop, rock and world music, as well as working as a session player when time allows.
After completing his formal academic musical training (BA Hons, Jazz/Popular. MA Music/Contemporary Composition) at Middlesex and Kingston Universities, Jeremy set up his own teaching company and worked extensively with London schools and borough councils in order to develop, promote and enhance the playing of music with children and young musicians in education.
He has taught a variety of musicians and performers of all ages and abilities, from year 1 ukulele/guitarists to Ivor Novello and five times Grammy award winning singer songwriter Amy Winehouse.
Jeremy is an active musician and composer, creating, recording and producing from his home studio in Cambridge. He is a multi-instrumentalist who also plays with musicians and groups in the local area.
As well as being a music teacher and facilitator, Jeremy is a DTLLS and CELTA trained English/ESOL teacher working in Cambridgeshire language schools and sixth form colleges.
