Kirsten has always had a keen passion and love of music and education. Learning Singing and violin through school, Kirsten then went on to study Music at Newcastle University followed by a PGCE Secondary Music at Cambridge University. After a number of years as a secondary classroom music teacher and head of music in Peterborough, Kirsten started working for Peterborough Music Hub in 2016 and established the Peterborough Centre for Young Musicians.
Kirsten Sings in local choir, St Peter’s Singers and plays in local ensembles including City of Peterborough Symphony Orchestra and Peterborough Community Orchestra. Outside of music she is a leader for Girlguiding.
